Deployment & Linkage
The manner in which a Management System is deployed is as important as its structure. The location of the Management System documents should be readily available to all employees commensurate with their level of involvement and responsibilities. A company's information may need to be distributed as hard copy, electronically or using a combination of both methods. Frequently, customer related information as well as industry codes, standards and/or specifications are incorporated in the information that is required to be distributed.
Deployment may consist of using linked electronic documents (internal, customer and/or industry documents) over a company's intranet throughout all tiers of a management system or it may consist of using select standard operating procedures at specific locations within a facility.
The bottom line is that the Deployed Information has to be:
- Readily accessible to maximize the use of the information
- Current to ensure that superseded requirements are not used
- In a format that is easily understood to reduce the potential of errors
- Maintained so that the information remains consistent throughout the organization

QSI has developed multiple deployment scenarios to allow the client to minimize time spent with document control issues as well as to maximize the employee's ability to use the information for the performance of their job.
